Would be cute to do one for every house I’ve lived in
Recently some friends of mine commissioned me to embroider their childhood home to give to their parents as an anniversary gift. It was really fun to be part of something so sentimental and for such kind people. If you’d like something like this shoot me an email: lou.lafayette [at] gmail [dot] com
Renter Friendly Typographic Wall Art | Curbly
As a renter myself, I’m always on the lookout for projects that I can do myself to decorate my home without permanently altering it! This graphic wall art is certainly eye catching and also super easy! The letters are actually made out of fabric that is stuck on the wall with a corn starch paste. Sticks on ‘permanently’ - washes off with warm water. I’ve seen projects like this before and been skeptical about it coming off as easily as they say and it really works! Of course, you don’t have to do letters - you could even ‘wallpaper’ the wall with your favourite fabric.
Good for dorm decorating! Roommates initials?
